FAQ

Product & features
How does the Phomo camera work? Plus

Phomo is all about capturing first and reliving later. Turn it on, choose your filter, press the shutter and stay in the moment. There’s no screen, so you won’t get distracted by checking, deleting or retaking every shot.

Is the Phomo camera analogue or digital? Plus

Phomo is a digital camera with an analogue feeling. You get the nostalgic look and surprise of film photography, without film rolls, development costs or single-use waste.

Is the Phomo camera reusable? Plus

Yes. Unlike disposable cameras, Phomo is reusable and rechargeable. Transfer your photos, clear space on your SD card and start capturing new memories again.

What is the image quality like? Plus

Phomo is made for nostalgic, retro-style photos, not overly polished, studio-perfect shots. Think spontaneous, honest and full of feeling.

How do the filters work? Plus

The Phomo camera has 4 built-in filters: Standard, Retro, Analog and B&W. You can switch between them directly on the camera, without using an app or editing software. Push the botton next to the small screen.

Does the camera have a flash? Plus

Yes. The Phomo camera has a built-in flash for darker moments. You can easily turn the flash on and off yourself using the button on the front of the camera.

Can I turn off the camera sound? Plus

Yes. You can turn the shutter sound off by holding the filter button on the camera for a few seconds.

How long does the battery last and how do I charge it? Plus

The battery lasts around 8–10 hours of use. You can charge the camera with the included USB-C cable, which is also used to transfer your photos.

What’s included in the box? Plus

Inside the box, you’ll find your Phomo camera, a USB-C cable, a quick start guide, a wrist strap and an SD card. Everything you need to start capturing your first Phomo moments.

Photo download & storage
Do I need to develop or print the photos? Plus

No. Your photos are saved digitally on the included SD card. You can view them on your phone, laptop or computer and print your favourites later if you like.

How do I download my photos? Plus

Connect your Phomo camera to your iPhone, laptop or computer and make sure the camera is turned on.

On an iPhone, open the Photos app. A folder called “PHOMO” or an import button will appear, where you can view and import your photos.

On a laptop or computer, the camera will appear as an external device. Open it to view, save, edit or share your photos. Click here for the 'how it works page'.

For older iPhones with a lightning port, you’ll need the Phomo adapter. If your laptop or computer does not have a USB-C port, use a USB-C to USB-A cable or adapter.

Do I need an app to transfer my photos? Plus

No app is needed. You can transfer your photos directly from the camera to your iPhone, laptop or computer.

How many photos can I store? Plus

With the included 8GB SD card, you can store around 2,500 photos. Want even more space? You can use your own SD card up to 128GB.

Returns & support
Can I return my Phomo camera? Plus

Yes. You have 30 days to return your camera. The product must be unused, undamaged and returned in its original packaging, including all accessories.

Return shipping costs are paid by the customer, unless the product arrived damaged, defective or incorrect.

My camera is not turning on. What should I do? Plus

First, charge the camera with the included USB-C cable and make sure the cable is properly connected. Let it charge for a while and try turning it on again.

My camera says “No card”. What should I do? Plus

If “No card” appears on the camera screen, carefully remove the SD card from the camera. Gently wipe the SD card clean and place it back into the camera.

If this does not solve the issue, please contact us at support@phomocameras.com. The camera itself is usually not broken; in most cases, the SD card may be damaged or not being read correctly.

My camera seems to be stuck. What should I do? Plus

If your camera does not turn on, freezes or does not respond, you can reset it.

Use a small pin to gently press the “R” reset button on the bottom of the camera. Let the camera rest for a moment, then try turning it on again after 10 seconds.

If the issue continues, please contact us at support@phomocameras.com and we’ll be happy to help.

I cannot find my photos. Where should I look? Plus

Connect your camera to your iPhone, laptop or computer and make sure the camera is turned on.

On iPhone, open the Photos app. A folder called “PHOMO” should appear, where you can view and import your photos.

On a laptop or computer, the camera should appear as an external device.

My camera arrived damaged or defective. What should I do? Plus

Please contact us as soon as possible at support@phomocameras.com. Include your order number and, if possible, photos or a short video of the issue. We’ll review the situation and help you with a suitable solution.
